What is the Sculptra Non-Surgical Butt Lift?

SCULPTRA

Sculptra is an injectable medical product that is based on a synthetic polymer called poly-L-lactic acid. This substance acts as a replacement for collagen. Poly-L-lactic acid, or PLLA, is totally biocompatible and biodegradable, so that it gets absorbed harmlessly.

When Sculptra is injected into your skin, your body reacts to the PLLA microparticles by initiating the creation of collagen. Over time, collagen production in the injected area becomes more voluminous, causing the skin to plump out. Over time, the PLLA microparticles are metabolized and converted into carbon dioxide and water, which the body then simply expels through the respiratory system harmlessly.

Sculptra is designed to increase volume, making it ideal to plump up your buttocks and make them perkier without surgery.

It is also effective in minimizing contour irregularities to smooth away undesirable ripples on your butt.

Sculptra helps the skin build its own collagen. This can plump up the thin and sagging skin caused by aging. Sculptra can also help in cases where the patient doesn’t want a bigger buttock area, but has a lot of dimpling.

What can be treated with the Sculptra Non-Surgical Butt Lift?

The loss of elasticity in the skin as we age, added to many years of sitting on sofas and office chairs, can result in sagging or flattened buttocks – this is what the Sculptra Butt Lift helps to counteract.

What is involved in the treatment?

Our Medical Practitioner will take into account the different types of anatomy, skin conditions, and muscle mass that can affect the outcome of this procedure. They will analyze the area to be treated and map out the most fitting shape for the body. is performed as a series of treatments over several months. The buttocks are numbed in order to prevent the patient from feeling any pain or discomfort from the needle. The Sculptra is directly injected into the treated area and it usually takes 2-4 treatments (one hour or less) to get the desired results. The treatments take place 3-4 weeks apart.

While patients will notice an almost immediate difference in their appearance, the results build as the number of treatments continues. After each treatment, the buttocks will appear more augmented and fuller than before while enhancing the natural curves of the patient.

The treatment utilizes the patient’s own collagen to provide more lift as well as increased elasticity, and better contour. The skin quality improves as does the firmness of the area. It can also help reduce the appearance of some cellulite in the area because of the collagen production.

How long will results last?

The immediate result after the procedure shows very good volume enhancement. This is mainly due to the water injected with the Sculptra mixture, and this volume will reduce to pre-treatment appearance after a few days. This is normal. The Sculptra will then get to work over the coming weeks and months to stimulate collagen and fibroblasts, enhancing the skin quality, texture, plumpness, and firmness.
